My name is Alyssa Ross, and I am a New York City based film/theatre actor and screenwriter. Welcome to my website!

I work in film, TV, theatre, and improv. I love playing funny, unique, intelligent women, and I’m always looking for meaningful projects. I’m currently working on an independent TV pilot, which I wrote and am producing, and studying with several amazing teachers. I want to tell interesting, powerful stories, either on stage or on film. In the meantime, I’m trying to learn as much as I can, work as much as possible, and see as much of the world as is out there!

In addition to acting and writing, I’m really interested in international politics and culture. I have an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics. I’ve taught English in Nepal and Thailand, and been to more than 50 countries on six continents. I was also a collegiate varsity track and cross country runner, and I still compete in middle-distance road racing and triathlons. I also love photography, live theatre, reading, and wandering around New York City!
